You find me "house message board boys" that can compare to those numbers.
Some simply appoint themselves as Fan Club Presidents, create signatures larger than traffic signs and make years of promises they never keep to compensate for their lack of partying wasting a young lady's time and efforts.

You guys don't have that significant of an impact on the houses business period and to think that you do is pure arrogance.

Maybe not significant in the overall picture, but between just Hiking Guy, QTO and myself, we had well over 200 parties between us last year. You find me "house message board boys" that can compare to those numbers. So as clients and message boards go, along with all the lurkers on here, you bet we have a bigger impact than any other single group out there.

Sled, you've been banned from the houses, you have no impact plain and simple.

In terms of influencing lurkers, the reality is those sigs have more impact on their business than you do.  Lame ? you bet but true it is.

Yeah Mike, I've been hearing that same claim for over a year now! Yet, there I was twice this month, open door as usual.

They get banned for being abusive and for doing stuff as described here by Lady Aries:

No one really gives a dam about your little photo gate.  That shit happens every year because you guys are stupid enough to allow cameras at your events.

Actually it has only happened twice.  The first time was during Winterfest 2011 at the Bunnyranch party.  A working girl took videos that included members of our group and posted them on the net.   Those were taken down in reasonable fashion but some of us have not returned to the BR since.

The second time was LPIN Gathering 15 in July 2011 when Air Force Amy took pictures of our members at, you guessed it, the Bunnyranch party and posted them on the internet then refused to take them down for several days by which time damage had been done.

So there is one link between these events and that's the Bunnyranch.  Anyone not wanting their photos on the net go there at their own risk.

It actually also happened at the Banquet of LPIN Gathering 7 in the cocktail area. Not by any ranches but by a cwmer. It also happened at one of your picnics IB. Brees cousin was the target. In both of those cases the pics were posted on the net.  Then at the LPIN Gathering banquet thier were un authorized pics taken. Those never made it to the Net.  I believe it also happened at the Dovetail. Those pics are still on the net.

I think it's way too much to do about nothing. Some of those that are bitching the most, at one time are the same people that were fine with having thier pics posted at LPIN Gathering 5. I made a web page with those pics.Everyone in them was ok with it. They include those here that are bitching about having thier pics posted.

Bree's "cousin" (she was actually a family friend) was never at one of "my" picnics.  The picnics we had at Bree's house were hosted by her.  Of the things that you talk about the only one I'm aware of was the Dovetail pics and those were taken down the same day they went up.  If they were later reposted I am unaware of it.   I had forgotten about that one because it was taken care of so quickly.

What are some ideas you all have on avoiding the possibility of exposure? With all the clients that come in and out and taking pictures, as well as the girls it's incredibly hard to keep track of who gets captured in pictures/videos. We need to come up with a solution!  ???

Several ranches have 100% bans on cameras and customer/lady use of cellphones in the parlor.  This helps ensure that neither the ladies (whom may not want to have their pics publicly posted) or the customers are taking pics.  Not 100% foolproof, of course, but MUCH better than having cameras out in the open.

In fact, the Sagebrush also has a laptop ban in the parlor.  I've gotten around this once a while back (Carmen was sitting next to me the entire time I was working on my laptop, incidentally while I was showing her this website/forum, to make sure that I wasn't using the laptop camera), but as many laptops have cameras these days, this makes a certain amount of sense.  Same for tablets and such, as some are camera equipped.

I'd recommend that only the MLBR do video/camera shoots with customers in attendance, while the Love Ranch North enacts a 100% camera ban.  This way, those whom want to get famous can go to the MLBR, and those whom do not want to have to worry about such things can go to the Love Ranch North that night.

But, as Dennis doesn't seem to think that typical customer privacy is as important as promoting his brand, I'm not holding my breath.  Rather than a heartfelt apology from him regarding the photogate incident, and demonstrating that he takes this issue seriously by changing camera policies, we saw a lot of drama and backbiting of the other ranches instead.

Sure, special precautions are often taken for the rich and famous that party incognito at the MLBR, to ensure that word never gets out about their trysts, but for us average joes, no special consideration whatsoever seems to be taken when cameras are about.  At the very least, I would suggest that EVERY customer within sight range of a camera should either have to sign a release form or be asked to leave the parlor when special events are on, but this has not been the case to date.

Also, for IB, there was a more recent event reported on the Bunny Board regarding someone's photo/likeness getting out into the wild that had privacy concerns within the last several months.  Of course, this was suppressed as soon as the BR moderators got wind of it, but the point is that this remains an issue.

And, as much as I'd love to meet some of the ladies that currently work for Dennis (Ally comes immediately to mind, as does Lady Aries), I simply will not compromise my values and need for privacy unless and until I see proactive and positive changes in this regard, and a formal apology issued to those whom have been harmed because of this.

In fact, I recently chatted with a Monger whom had a talking to after one of these incidents by his immediate boss, who DID discover the photos involved.  He is now restricted from taking any trips to Reno, so even if he wanted to party in Moundhouse, or even at Exit 28, he can't, lest he risk being fired.

Way to go, Team Bunnyranch!

(With apologies to Ally, she's just an IC caught in the middle of this debacle).

Pat,

You felt so strongly about it you wrote it twice

I know, I had to get to my lunch gatherings with a couple of old friends. We've been meeting for about 15 to 20 years once a week. I did a rush job when I wrote it. Then when I previewed it i noticed some boo boo's. So I tried to fix them and instead I made it worse. In other words, I fucked it up. I noticed it when I posted it, but  needed to get going. So I just left it as is.

Peace

Pat

Thanks Oddball! While prohibiting cameras, phones, laptops is an obvious way of prevention people also LOVE that they are not prohibited at our ranches, and it doesn't feel like I'm reaped in a prison lol. There has to be a happy medium somewhere, my mind has been jumbling around ideas, I don't know a check in list on people in the building with a sign off sheet.. Something, then all girls possibly sending photos to a manager whom can block out photos of all guests, and girls only posting pics of themselves? I want to hear more ideas so I can bring something up in a meeting, definitely a big issue if it is keeping clients away from all the fun!  :(

Quite simply, if you (usually the ladies) are taking a pic, make sure to tell the clients so they can decide whether or not to leave the immediate vicinity. If it is a party like the St Patrick's party, you need to be double as careful since it's packed and impossible to check with everyone, and one might get photographed off a reflective surface.
