What's in a Name?

I am frequently asked by new ladies coming on board what name they should use.  Since a name is very personal and - if she's a hit - she'll be living with it for a long time - I try to give guidelines rather than suggestions.

This is a recent message I sent...

The ladies page on the SIN board is alphabetical so closer to “A” is closer to the top.

Your personality… We have “Sweet Staci” & “Lady Aries” – those names reflect each ladies’ demeanor.  Staci really is a “sweet girl” & Aries really is “regal”.

Your vibe - If you are hyper or very kinetic – take a name that suggests energy and movement.  If you are mellow and serene – choose a name that reflects that.

Your interests… My working name was “Trinity Powers” – I am a Reiki Master & wanted an name that suggested body-mind-soul – and the fact that I was self-empowered.  It also sounded like a cartoon character to me – which pleased my sense of humor…

Memorable… “Liv Wylder” “Ima Tart” are cute and paint a picture.  When your name is a pun – it is more memorable.

Very Important... The guy can understand it when you introduce yourself and he can say it to ask for you … Don’t pick some crazy long name that is spelled weird that you’ll have to repeat 3 times in the line-up.

The newest addition to our line-up at The Alien Cathouse didn't have any problem coming up with her name... Audrey - inspiring an image of Audrey Hepburn who also is a fair-skinned brunette with wit, grace, intelligence followed by West - as in the Wild West.  She found a perfect name to describe her special mix of class & wild spirit.

I'm sure there are others out there who can offer some pearls of wisdom to the girls who are looking for the exact right name.

This might be siily, but I've always been fond of the girls in the Bond movies.  Who can forget such names as Pussy Galore, Dr. Holly Goodhead, Honey Rider, Plenty O'Toole (my favorite), Chew Mee, Bibi Dahl, Xenia Onatopp, and of course, Octopussy.

Yes, very true. I am surprised not may working ladies have named themselves after any of the Bond girls, or from TV series such as, the Avengers or Charlies Angels, etc. Particularly, if they are fit athletic and sporty, a name from one of these shows, would be a big PLUS.

Flying in to work at a rural brothel? Paying all the expense of traveling across the country?

How about calling her
"NAIVE" ?  ::)

Naaaah...   "Hopefull" might be better...  (Along that same line)

The problem is, ya gotta know her personality to come up with a good name.  (Ya know, like Sweet Stacie, or Lady A...   ::)  )

Paloma Picasso comes to mind but I think "Paloma" might be too foriegn for guys to hear right when she introduces herself on the line-up...

any Artist name after "Melody"  would work Or "Angelina" for another famous brunette...

Maybe it is just me but a name is important to me. It says something about who you are or things you do or believe in.

I have friends that I used to drive trucks with and we still call each other by our old handles that we had back in C B days.

I agree!  I think this girl has it going on so she will likely be living with this name for a long time.  That's why I'm asking for your help.
