What is the big deal with the ACLU lawyer he has done lot hof work mine and other brother so what ?  He happens to be very good to

Please clarify the ACLU reference.

I assume you are saying the lawyer takes cases from the ACLU.  I assume you are also saying the lawyer takes cases from you and others.

Are you therefore saying that there are no ACLU issues involved in this discussion?

In this case Chicken Ranch hired him and sr and i had our own Lawyers. His findings are interesting

Well guess what? I have the changes on my desk too and Sunset and I had an invited and special meeting in Nye County with The Chairman and The Sheriff in Nye County 3 days ago.  And the tone of that meeting was no bluff or pimpy.

Why would someone retired have a meeting with Nye County? For people who want nothing to do with the business that really doesn't make any sense.
Been on this board 8 years and some people still need to grow up

It will make sense soon.  Nothing to do with being a part of it ever again.  Chairman and Sheriff requested a meeting.  We honored the request.

"we all had a good meeting got lots done. The new draft is on my desk i will read it. "

Why do you always twist it around to try and make everyone believe, you're running the show? I didn't get that impression at all from reading the article. You have no say whatsoever in what they decide to do.

I don't run that show I run great brothels its a shame you talk about things you dont purchase.

Do you talk about Ralph Lauren  suits and the quality of them? I love them

Could of fooled me. Looks more like a bowling shit from Laverne and Shirley to me.

Hey, I think the bottom is is a brothel owner can not write brothel laws but they can sure affect brothel laws through their actions.

The new draft revisions have been out for longer than the meeting D had.
If he was there with all his input he would have already read the proposed changes & know what was talked about.
As usual, he is most likely BS'ing. The pv times article was very interesting, it did say both CR & Alien were being "investigated", not that the owners were writing proposed changes... ::)

I don't think the ACLU has anything to do with the language I have seen which gives authority to the Chairman and The Sheriff to Suspend pending an investigation and to blacklist.  Plus only the commission and the sheriff have the power to write any laws.  I think the language we are going to hear is The Ass Chew On You kind.  You got 16 days to think on it.

In EVERY country where brothels are legal, organized crime finds its way in.  Not all brothels are the case in Nevada.  This puts the ladies at risk for legalized mistreatment and the customers at risk for all kinds of things including extortion schemes.  Heaven forbid a lady falls in love with one of you and by her independent contractor right decides to be with you.  Cause you might become a target of organized crime who want their merchandise back even though the Nevada NRS laws give NO ownership over any working girl nor does the Constitution.  This nonsense these girls are property and brothel owners have rights to them is nowhere in the Nevada laws about brothels and in fact, if anything, the girls rights to leave ARE protected in the Nevada NRS laws.  So, don't believe that crap at all.  A woman has more rights under existing laws than they realize.

Actually, that is part of the problem right there, the brothel owners/management tell the girls what the "laws" are (or what they perceive to be the law or what they decide to follow or not) and they are believed.  What they don't do is provide the girls with the TRUTH which is what the actual laws are.  The law is the law regardless of whether the "brothel" decides to follow it or not.  I cannot tell you the times that I have been purposely mislead by "brothels".  It makes me mad as all get out.  Enough is enough and the truth must come out and NOW!

This is why I compiled the following information as posted on this board:

http://sex-in-nevada.net/smforum/index.php?topic=23955.0

Yes, granted, "legalities" can be hard to follow, but I find it to be my own personal responsibility to find out the facts for myself!  I do say "shame on me" for not finding this information earlier...but who would really believe that a "brothel" would lie to you?!  I didn't, but guess what, yes they will and they have!!!  The saying "money is the root of all evil" holds true in this case.  Brothels aren't thinking like me (I just need to make a living the best way I can) as they are looking for ways around the law to make as much money as they can no matter what (working ladies are disposable as they are easily replaced).  That is the truth and I do not appreciate being used as a pawn in their game.  Did I come in to this rather naive?  Yes I did.  Did I come in expecting the "brothels" to abide by the laws of this state?  Yes I did.  I did at least realize that in the state of Nevada, that brothels were a privilege not a right.  Therefore I never expected any brothel to go out of their way to "skirt" around the laws while risking that privilege, but yet they do it on a regular basis.  I can honestly say that I have been bold face lied to by brothel owners/management.  Shame on them and shame on me for blindly believing them.

I will have to say, honestly, that Mona's comes the closest to following the law.
I will have to say, honestly, that Bella's has fallen extremely short of the law with LRV being somewhere in the middle (strictly based on my own personal experiences since I had enough sense to get out of LRV before SHTF).

What no one has commented on as of yet, is that I suspect that the "Lamar Odom" incident (more than likely) is what led to Nye County to review their brothel code and make revisions.  Regardless of what DH says, there was continious illegal drug use going on in that house (management was aware of it, tried to take care of it BUT overrode by DH himself because it involved some of his "special ladies").  How can management be effective if it is constantly being overridden by the owner himself while based on personal reasons instead of what was best for the business as a whole?  The answer is:  they cannot!  And furthermore, when their usefulness to the Hof empire expired, they were discarded as if they pieces of garbage.

All I can say is that I was protected from the likes of Sunset's predicament due to the fact that I am not DH's type (I am too old to begin with (can't change age no matter what you do), I do not have the mindset/personality to cave into him (ie. call him Daddy D...that is just disgusting, IMHO), I am not blonde and I do not have big boobs (while not having the desire to be/have either...sometimes you cannot teach an old dog new tricks cause this old dog is quite happy with the way I am).  DH did not go out of his way to dislike me but at the same time did not go out of his to spend time (talk with me) with me either.  Why, because I wasn't hanging all over him as if he were something special plus I had a sincere desired to be serious about the business and discuss ways towards improvement.  Hence the "shhh, women are to be seen not heard" comment from DH came about...needless to say that was the beginning of the end for my existance at LRV (my decision, not DH's).

I sincerely hope that Nye County gives the brothels the ass chewing they deserve and that it will set a state wide example for other brothels of what can happen when a brothel opts to not follow the law.

Okay let's try to put some reality to all this. Daddy D makes it sound like he is working with the county and ACLU and maybe he thinks he is. Narcissism makes you think you are more important than you really are but anyways. So that's how he describes it. Working with them and the ACLU.

The article paints a more realistic view. Brothel owners and the county got together to hash it out which means work out the differences and the county said to write it down and mail it to them which means nothing got done and the county got tired of it. So no brothels have responded which means they aren't contesting any of it.

So he did meet with them but it wasn't like he described as he is all important. Basically the county said fuck you, just mail it in because we are tired of "hashing it out" or "your wants are ridiculous".

He was probably asking them to put a girls only high school next to LRV so recruitment would be easier . Lol.

No as usual you not correct at all but nice try

You might want to quit guessing as your not good at it

The county said nothing like that we all had a good meeting got lots done. The new draft is on my desk i will read it.

What is the big deal with the ACLU lawyer he has done lot hof work mine and other brother so what ?  He happens to be very good to

As usual you have no proof of how the meeting went. The only proof is what they said to the newspaper. Again you are just trying to bluff your way out. It's always "I know" but never anyone to correlate what you say.

Yawn..

Your are right Bunnyranch is the best place to party or work never had their lic revoked like other houses lol

I never said that. Are you mentally retarded?

Abby and I are very much alike in a lot of ways. Age is probably the biggest difference.   :P I may not be a fresh face 18 year old (though apparently I look young enough where it wasn't believed when I first waked into LRV that I was 21+ and even with checking my ID I felt the air that they were ready to send me back if Nye County denied me for having a "fake" ID) - but I'm in my mid 20s which all things considered is still young.

But I also had to do my own homework to find out exactly what was legal and what wasn't, not just with the state but with the county. I learned to do this immediately, having come from a modeling background and needing to know legalities of the cities, states, and countries I traveled to for shoots. To know whether the companies and/or photographers were trying anything shady. And as a burlesque performer, the types of performances and the amount of undress you can do varies by state and in some states by city. Both independent performers and troupes stay diligent about abiding by the laws so that burlesque can continue to thrive, and performers seen doing acts that aren't kosher are essentially banished from the scene. Producers don't take their submissions for shows and they drop off the map.  After my first tour at LRS I really knew what was and wasn't okay, not only by the rules as per the "Bunny Bible" but also for the state and Nevada and Nye county.

I'll be open about this as I work in the sex industry why the hell would I be shy about sexuality? I enjoy anal sex. I've done it safely countless times with my personal partners. The vibe I got when I first started wasn't that anal intercourse was illegal, but that it was a "don't ask don't tell" type of thing and people just found it squicky so it was frowned up to find out someone was offering it. And also that it was considered a form of dirty hustling and unfair to others to offer it because it can be a more desirable form of intercourse.  I never offered it and declined when asked in negotiations just because of that mentality. But then upon doing my research, finding out that it was illegal if I didn't get the test for it and the clinic used for LRV and ACH doesn't include it in the testing, I was wiping sweat off my brow.  (Meanwhile at home one time my lady partner came running in yelling "check out my two dicks!" as she had a dual-phallus strapon for double penetration. It sent me into too much laughter to get my mojo going. But yeah. Instead it just turned into her straddled me, doing overly exaggerated pelvic thrusts so they wobbles about to make me laugh more and her name was "Bonersaurus Rex" for the next 24 hours.)

I sincerely hope everyone new to the industry does their homework. We're adults, and no one will do it for us. And you can't trust hearsay without looking up credible sources to back it up. You just can't.  Which in this case will be in the text of county and state laws, not just whatever rules are set by specific houses.

RE Lamar Odom: imagine a Hof house with only a few girls in a lineup at any given time. Sometimes only two. And a few days only 1 (me). That was November 2015. Talk about yikes.  Things have improved since, and I was happy to see a fuller house when I returned in January (and I still consider January to be one of my better trips, it was a lot of fun).  But damn.

I find it funny when I first started DH shared my pics on Twitter and sent me a couple saucey emails about how he likes Texas girls. Now look at how he talks to me and treats me.  It's actually quite hilarious. Like I lost all desirability the moment I showed I can think and act for myself, care about others, and don't put up with bullshit. And yes, I kept those receipts. *sips tea*

Likely, an ass chewing is all that will happen.

For the counties, it is expected to be all about the fees (money).

Same as Dennis has said - "It is all about the marketing (money).

And as we left the meeting I recall the lady who wore the sheriff's badge say, "Diane, I am proud of you for showing other girls that they can get out of the business and how you are living your life now.  And I am reminded of a lady in the 1960s who once worked the brothels in Nye County.  She quit and married the Sheriff eventually."  I got a feeling about 9-20.

Nye County Prostitution Code 9.20 on 9/20 very interesting coincidence there, or is it?
