Hooters Hotel, two blocks off the strip at the MGM. Smaller hotel with good GYM and pool. Good parking. Great rates, $29+

This could make going to Sheri's and The CR a royal pain in the short term, but easier in the long term..

 A 6-mile stretch of State Route 160, which connects Las Vegas to Pahrump, is slated to be widened from two to four lanes starting in 2018.

I get 2 night free every week except for holidays. I had to stay at another motel on Christmas day but got the Sands for free the following 2 days.  When they comp the rooms, they wave the resort fee and just charge the $75 refundable room deposit.
