I don't drive but this freakin pisses me off.  The Casinos make Soooooooooooooooomuch Money.  They already nickel and dime the shit out of tourists. I mean they just raised the Room Tax to pay for Raider Stadium, Plus a resort Fee, Plus the Room Rate, Plus an Incidental Deposit, plus increased parking rates. Then they scratch their heads as to why Gaming revenue is down.

They are becoming more and more like the airlines. I always rented a car in Vegas given the cheap rates and free parking. Tough to justify that anymore.

[rant on  8)] Welcome to the "New" Las Vegas!  >:(  The days of low room rates without resort fees, free parking, casino comps, and other incentive which use to draw in visitors are slowing fading away.  The bean counters who are running MGM, CET, etc. are slowly ruining Vegas for many of the longtime Vegas visitors who use to spend a good part of the Vegas bankrolls in their casinos.  I guess they don't value their old-time customers anymore and are now targeting the new generation of Vegas visitors whose primary reason to visit is not necessarily for gambling, but for other form of entertainment and dining at celebrity chef owned restaurants. [/rant off  8)]

On April 12, 2017 self-parking increases from $10 to $12 per day for the majority of MGM hotels on the strip.

Whoop-de-do..... $2 per day increase.

it's funny seeing all the local joints advertising "free parking." this is corporate america at its finest. i guess the good thing is the taxpayers (me) aren't going to pay for that brand new 2 billion dollar NFL stadium. That'll be coming out of the tourist's pocket.
