Yep or the Appeals Court will concur with the District Court and dismiss the case and it ends there. I agree with you, either way I don't think this case has any legs.

The biggest reason this is disgusting isn't just because they are trying to outlaw legal prostitution but the fact they are deliberately  exploiting a serious problem like sex trafficking to do it.

The ways sex trafficking has been used as a political prop is disgusting!

Yeah, the idea that someone could pay for consensual sex seems to be beyond many people. That if anyone on the receiving the payment side must be forced.

I think the type of jackasses who would go as far as to try and sue to shut down Nevada's legal prostitution businesses know damn well it's consensual. They also know that shutting down Nevada's prostitution businesses won't help a single victim of sex trafficking either. They just can't rationalize the prohibition against prostitution so they have to use "sex-trafficking" as an PR tactic!

I don't live in Nevada but every time there's been some talk about legalizing sex work here in my state, the same types of jackasses come of the woodwork and sob the same phony crocodile tears.

Easier to keep something illegal that has always been illegal.

Nevada has had there legal model for many years. Now.  Sure Nevada could flip and make it illegal again, but its a little bit more of a process to make something illegal that was already legal. People tend to get a little booty if you take away something they have always had.

My point LPIN in its present form may go down at some point. Nothing last for forever.  But don't expect it to go down without a fight

As for legalization in other states? Never say never, but don't hold your breath it won't happen anytime soon.

I live In California for I am not sure how much longer.🤔🤔 That's beside the point. Anyway way it was 🤔🤔🤔 I forget how many years ago at this point. A ballot measure in SF that would have decriminalized prostitution In SF about an hour away from me. If it had passed that might have been the first step to full legalization at least in Parts of California even though it would have been many years off.

Anyway the ballot measure failed by a narrow Margin.

I found out after the fact the group that funded the no side. Were a group of lobbyist connected to Nevada.😃
