Love Ranch South Demolished...

Not much in Crystal except for, as Claymore said, water. It is close to Ash Meadows Wild life Area, which is worth a look if you are visiting brothels in Southern NV.

In trying to find information about the history of Crystal I came across a video of a guy who said he bought 15 acres in Crystal and was going to build  off grid tiny homes out there. That was about a year ago, and couldn't find anything more recent. His company is Incredible Tiny Homes. They have a web site and look legit. My guess would be not enough demand so they didn't build there.

I remember when Angeles ladies was about to close it was up for sale for one million. That included a house the brothel and a few trailers. They also have a hot springs on the property.  No takers.

A few weeks before this was demolished I was thru Crystal...At both the Cherry Patch and LRS there were portable..surveillance systems set up. 360 cameras etc..My guess vandalism was an issue as there was also gang graffiti on signs etc...

Crystal is about as far off the beaten track as it gets...tiny community a few nice places...some sketchy looking places...with the Shortbranch Saloon closed not even a place to get a drink or something to eat.

Something large was being built SE corner of Crystal...maybe a large ranch...bug out location...I'll check that out next time through..

As Jack said a trip to Ash Meadows is always interesting and you can exit the North end of Ash Meadows..go thru a low mountain pass to get to Crystal...Large gypsum mine is operating South of Crystal..roads are suitable for a passenger vehicle..

At Angels Ladies...the plane and the brothel sign are still in place if you want to stop and take a photo...the rest of the place run down..

If anyone plans to stop at the ACH..call ahead..they put out a "private party" sign  in the am...I think it is to let the ladies sleep or maybe a staffing issue..

I just worry what will happen when the owner of the Angel’s property decides to sell. Will this “charity” buy them up solely to erase the memory?

Funny thing is that he mentioned he owns Eddieworld in Beatty and his son owns the one in California, guess my theory was right about different owners was right.

I saw that video I was going to post it also. What an interesting guy. He has already accomplished so much, and still has big plans for Beatty. We need someone with his energy and vision to give us a good reasonably priced brothel in Southern Nevada.

The Shoshone museum in Shoshone CA is having a fund raising raffle. The winner gets to have dinner with Wonder Hussy at the best restaurant in Shoshone. Actually it's the only restaurant in Shoshone-The Crow Bar. It's about 30 miles from Pahrump, and a great place to sit out side, drink a beer, and watch the sun set.

Of course I have some tickets for the raffle.

I only had one party at Angel’s Ladies, but it was a pretty good one.  And after the party the lady asked me to go skinny dipping in the spring fed pool, which of course I did.  We even fooled around a little more in the pool right in front of another lady who came out to skinny dip with us.  I had driven down from Carson City for the day just for this one party, and it was worth it.  I was very sad when I started to think about LPIN again and saw that it was closed.  It did seem like a cool and unique property for a brothel.  I do hope it reopens again someday.

Read some of the comments on the video, people said she should buy Angels and reopen it. But it doesn’t look like she’s a YouTube millionaire, I think she just makes a respectable amount, enough to make it her full time job, which don’t get me wrong is a huge accomplishment.

Regardless if you win (hope you do) I’m sure it would be an interesting topic to bring up.

From what I know about it, I guess it was quite a unique property. All other houses are just buildings, this one was an outdoor paradise.

Looks like Wonderhussy strikes again, she gave a rather long rant about this on her Facebook page. Hope she does her next video on it. Be interested to see if any traces at all remain.
She (and many others) were wondering about that statue, which I must say was surprisingly well preserved for being abandoned for so long. Surprised it wasn’t stolen/defaced/deteriorated. Someone said that the helicopter airlifted it and the intention was to drop it from high up to shatter it, but the winds prohibited that so they set it back down. I highly doubt she was spared.
Kind of hoping this might spark a preservation effort for some other properties. Someone randomly sent Wonderhussy $85000 for a new car, I think she could raise the funds for preservation of Angel’s.
I think she (or someone else) should try and get in touch with the current owner and see what his long term plans are. If he wants to use the place as a private residence and live out his years, great, property will be preserved for awhile, otherwise see if he’s interested in selling. FYI he paid $1.8 million for it in 2007. At the point I’m at, I really don’t care too much about it reopening, just seeing it preserved.

Going back to the topic of Love Ranch’s land value, I looked up the sales history of Shady Lady, last sold in 2018 for $235,000. I mean, yeah inflation/housing prices have skyrocketed, but which would you rather have? A bunch of rundown rat infested trailers on an off the grid lot, or a large spread of land with a functioning business with a pool located right along a major highway? Also makes you wonder, could they get Shady Lady for way less?

Also Suzette posted on one of the Facebook articles a few times. She bashed someone for not understanding how legal prostitution works. Sounds like she’s upset…but it’s her fault.
