Got a copy of Nevada Rose, the mostly photo book by Mark McAndrews that has been discussed here from time to time.

http://www.amazon.com/Nevada-Rose-Marc-McAndrews/dp/1884167152

A decent enough book, though I caught a typo - a duplicate line on page 23 from the previous page in the interview with Dennis Hof.
But the photos are gorgeous, big bright and clear.  The book is 12" wide and 9" high, and many pictures take a whole page.

We get to meet many of the owners, the staff, and a good number of working ladies.
Even a few customers show up, though one has his back turned (at the ATM at the Love Ranch with Nicole).
More than a few ladies we know are here, some now moved on from the business.
Rachel and Riley in a hot tub (says at the Mustang - not sure about that), Rachel's pierced nipple peeking above the water one of the most risque live shots.  I was surprised and delighted to see Rachel in there, the price of the book well worth the remembrance of her bright eyes and luscious breasts.

Most places are represented, though the Bunnyranch gets a little section of its own at the end.
The pictures span a few years, so we get to see a few of the Old Bridge Ranch, and the Mustang bar before the latest remodeling.

A decent bit of history if you're into collecting such.

Just saw this today...figured I would post it on this thread...I realize it's an old topic...but if anyone was doing research or wanted to know more about the book before buying, here's a website with an interview with the author.

I scanned the book; I will probably buy it.  Is the famous Love Tub depicted at the right house?  Looks like the one at the Shady Lady.

I scanned the book; I will probably buy it.  Is the famous Love Tub depicted at the right house?  Looks like the one at the Shady Lady.

On page 78?  Attributed to the Pussycat Saloon in Winnemucca?
The red heart-shaped tub is surrounded by black tile,
at the "top" of the heart is a wall with an air-conditioner in it,
the rim is flat-topped,
the faucet is smaller and mounted on the rim of the tub itself,
and there are no jets in the "top" of the heart.

At the Shady Lady tour page, http://shadyladyranch.com/tour.html

their red, heart shaped tub is surrounded by white tile,
the "top" points into a corner between two walls (and no A/C),
the rim is rounded over,
the faucet and (much larger) spout are mounted on the tile surround,
and there is a jet in each side of the "top" of the heart.

I think there are at least two instances of red plastic/fiberglass heart-shaped tubs in the (brothel) world ... .
