Hi all, quick question about brothels and STD results

I recently visited a brothel, had a nice party with a girl who seemed content to be where she was. But by next week she was no longer there (according to their website). So my question is.... if a lady fails (for lack of a better word) her STD test, does the brothel post that information on their website or are they legally required to tell you so should you call and inquire.

I'm not really concerned, more curious than anything else. Of course she could've simply decided to leave or been fired, but I wonder.... given all the regulation, wouldn't the houses have to make this info available to the public?

Just because a lady leaves a brothel after one week does not indicate she has STD's. Women leave brothels for many reasons and sometimes for no reason at all. As for brothels posting STD's on their website, I would think any positive test would come from women who have not  started work at the brothel. Not from woman who are already working. Also there are privacy issues involved so if a warning would come from anyone, it would most likely be the Nevada health dept, not the brothel.

The privacy goes both ways - when a client comes in to party and "fails" his D/C - he's simply told he can't party.  No publication or organization is notified.  For the record, though - I have never encountered anyone who failed his test.  I've also never worked with a girl who ever failed her test.  Frankly - since the ladies make their living at this and DEPEND on passing in order to pay the rent and buy the groceries - there's a very high motivation to keep it clean.

 Made for TV dramas always show this profession as riddled with diseased, victimized, and emotionally unstable drug users.  I don't know - maybe that's happening in the streets of some bad neighborhoods - but from what I've seen - sex workers in brothels and their clients are clean, stable, and overall good people who care about their health and want to be appealing.  Clean is sexy in this world.

...which says in effect, that reseach has found that legal sex workers who contract STDs invaribly do so outside the brothel, the problem being identified when they fail the medical check required _before_ they return to work.

The posts above me answer your question well.   I'll add something a little different.   After my first party at the Chicken Ranch in January 1997, I was concerned about having contracted an STD.   The next time I went to my family doctor, I told him of my trip to a legal Nevada brothel and my concern.   He chuckled and said that the state of Nevada highly regulates the brothels and that if I played by the rules, I was safe.   He then told me that if I go again to have a good time.     So, the next time you go to a legal Nevada brothel, have fun!

In all my time working, I can count the guys who have failed the DC on one hand.  And I'm sure they knew they had it, so shame on them! 
I've been told by dr.'s that it is very rare for STD's in the biz.  Guys that come in do so for the safe sex.  It is as important to them as it is to us.  So practically all pass the DC.

What tests or d/c do you mean that a guy does? What is that?

A guys drops his pants, and the working lady (often while using a glove or towelette to avoid touching yet) will examine the guy's penis and genital area for signs of STDs: open sores, nasty discharges from the penis, crabs, etc.
Some ladies give a little milking action to see if there's any pus hiding in the urethra.
