I have no doubt that the risk of getting the diseases the ladies are tested for--above all HIV--are negligible.

What bothers me a little bit are the diseases for which testing is not mandated by law, such as herpes.  I'll assume that ladies are not allowed to work when they have active herpes, but herpes can be contagious even when it is not active.  Yes, it is much less contagious when there is no current outbreak, and condoms cut the risk still further, but there still is *some* risk to the customer. Likewise, there is some risk to the lady, no matter how conscientious she is about condom use and d/c's--inactive herpes in the customer cannot be detected by a d/c.

I don't want to overemphasize this, because the risk is small, and no doubt a lot smaller than what is involved in, say, a man picking up a woman "for free" in a bar.  But let's not fool ourselves into thinking there is *no* risk of getting *any* STD's with LPIN.

I'm not worried about it (even though I fingered her with bare fingers)...

And now you know why Mother kept telling you not to put your fingers in your mouth.

What tests or d/c do you mean that a guy does? What is that?

D/C = Dick Check.

It's the most romantic part of negotiations. ;-)  Why it's saved for last I guess.

A guys drops his pants, and the working lady (often while using a glove or towelette to avoid touching yet) will examine the guy's penis and genital area for signs of STDs: open sores, nasty discharges from the penis, crabs, etc.
Some ladies give a little milking action to see if there's any pus hiding in the urethra.
Thanks, I thought so but wasn't sure. :)

Every brothel I visited,  did a DC, except Inez's.  I assume its done during the table bath, but when the bath was skipped, we went straight down to business.  Anyone else have this experience at inez not doing a DC.  This isn't isolated to one lady.  I've visited at least 10 different ladies there including the top producers, who never did a DC.

Just partied at Inez's last week and the girls did not do a D/C, nor did they use a condom while performing fellatio...needless to say, I left Inez's slightly concerned.

Who did you party with?  My party with Annie included a DC and coverage for all activities.

Coco and Joanne at the same time...I'm sure they probably checked me over, but it wasn't anything too intensive to the point that I was aware they were D/C'ing me.  Anyway, I come from a healthy monogamous relationship (driving through Elko, I just HAD to fulfill my 3way fantasy) of several years, so the primary concern with my experience is not the lack of D/C, but the lack of condom during fellatio as I am now concerned that I could be bringing home some sort of infection to my partner.  I know I should have thought about all of this beforehand, but now I've got to disclose the infidelity, hope my partner doesn't leave me, wait to engage in any sexual activity with her for several weeks while I wait the 2 to 3 weeks until any infections would show up on a test, get tested, etc., etc....

Should have been thinking with the head atop my shoulders...sigh

It is damn near impossible for a man to get infected with anything from unprotected fellatio...the risk is much more significant for the woman who performs it.  Given that the ladies are checked for gonorrhea and chlamydia weekly and HIV and syphilis monthly, it just doesn't pay to worry about that. The reason that the testing requirements are spaced that way is that there is a time frame from incubation to exposure...so IF by some highly unlikely chance the lady had been exposed to infection since her last time being checked, there will not have been enough time for it to incubate and transmit to someone else.

The only thing I guess that anyone might worry about is HSV, and while there are lots of rumors to the contrary, the fact is that HSV-1 likes mouths and HSV-2 like genitals and they aren't quite as inclined to cross over as fear mongers would assert. It can happen, but it's not really likely -- AND if a lady has HSV-1 outbreak she will have a visible "cold sore" or "fever blister" or ulcers inside which tend to be painful -- fellatio prob won't be offered!

So...if you want to worry about that 1 in 1,000,000 scenario where you defy all odds and wind up with something this way, then it's probably best to jump in that plastic bubble, certainly not have sex with ANYONE...take lots of girlie magazines!!!!

My research today has led me to many of the same conclusions.  What do you think about transmission risks due to unprotected cunnilingus?  My brief PC showed no ill signs but I'm sure some things can go unnoticed at those moments...

Transmission that way is even less likely...because no one is squirting fluid (and they are not, no matter what anyone tells ya) fluid that is produced from within, stored, and can be a reservoir for virus and bacteria.

STD transmission occurs much often in lesbians. The vagina and the mouth (guess I'm slipping into tech-speak mode) just do not harbor infectious organisms the way semen does. I would never assert that it can't happen. Anything CAN happen. But in general it's much less likely to transmit STD without a penis doing its thing...

Hahhaa go figure, yet another way in which the penis can wreak havoc.....  :o

Sperminator, I don't think you have anything to worry about, just because a lady left quickly from the brothel scene. There is a list of scenarios I can think of that might hav happened....(e.i. family emergency, brothel scene wasn't for her, etc...)

Kevin, I have personally never met a working lady with any visible signs of herpes, but then again my only concern is how clean and safe I am.  :) Usually someone with herpes will have slight scarring in the genital area, and that is something women look for. I read that when someone contract herpes, it is reoccuring so scar tissue will develop....  When a client comes in with active herpes, they are immediately turned away from all sexual activities. I will be scared and possibly look to retirement of brothels the day I meet a working lady with herpes down below  :'(

Coot182, Condoms are mandatory for BJ's, sex, and vagina's should be covered while kissing them. Though most clients do not agree with these regulations, clients and ladies are doing it at their own risk... Hope for your sake you do not get anthing. If a lady does not do a d/c and gives oral without a condom to you, she is doing it with EVERYBODY!!!! That would make me concerned. Even though it is unheard of contracting a STD at a brothel, it can still happen.

Another eye-opening subject.  :)
