Just my own opinion but from what I've always seen, the brothels and the sheriff's departments have always had a good working relationship. I've seen the sheriffs stop in many brothels on my brothel trips through Nevada. They help keep the brothels safe and it's a good working relationship.
For someone to come out and make comments about having something on the sheriff is not starting off on the right foot.
BTW: I was pulled over in Battle mtn after leaving Donna's a few years back because it was a new car from Ca. without plates. They were very courtious and once they found out I hadn't been drinking and saw the registration in the window, we had a friendly conversation about the highways and how dangerous Austin is when the black ice sets in. Just ordinary guys out there trying to keep everyone safe. The last thing they need is a bunch of crap from a future brothel manager.
Was it a trap to see how many drunk drivers they could catch? Who knows. What I do know is if it keeps one drunk driver from getting on the highway and killing an innocent family, it's worth it!
