What should every newbie know?

I'm a newbie, looking for information.  What are some of the things I should know?  You could be especially helpful by linking threads.

Solid facts belong in a FAQ, but there are lots of subjects which are matters of opinion, and thread commentary helps to form your own opinon.  Pro/con about fixed price brothels?  I'd like to hear different opionions.

So I've assembled some threads I've found useful as a newbie that I feel should be informative for all newbies.  Please add a link to an especially good thread you've found.  My hope is that the moderators take all of these threads, organize them, and create a sticky post for newbies (without commentary about the threads in question).

Thank you very much.   I wish this was compiled together in one segment about six months ago.  I searched through the forum trying to look at helpful information.  Basically I was trying to sort through just random talk threads in this section.  I got enough information from browsing here and there; to eventually make a trip out to Sheri’s Ranch in Pahrump, Nevada a few months ago.  I see there are a few links that I didn’t know about which I will be reading soon.

in my 1st year of going to a Nevada Brothel in 2006, I was very Naive ,didnt know much & my biggest Mistake was not Negotating & saying "ok"  to whatever the lady quoted me by putting it all on Credit. My best advice for a Newbie is to Negotiate to a Price you can Afford.I dont use plastic AnyMore @ Brothels , I pay cash,that way I Cant Overspend.

Well said Jimi.  Negotiations involve two people, both of whom have to be realistic.  Unfortunately, some of the ladies don't seem to understand this.  Thankfully, you are one of the easier ladies to negotiate with, and many of the ladies at the ranches can learn a lot from observing how ladies like yourself negotiate.

I was a newbie last Saturday. I went to Sheri's and the 1st price I heard was $35,000! this was for an 8 hour GFE but Heck NO! So, eventually, when we got to the $800 for 45-50 minutes it sounded good in contrast to the shocker number. I had 2 "parties" there that day. I learned a lot from, and had a good time with, Mystique. I can't think of much nice to say about the other young lady other than she was very beautiful and she knows it. "Plastic" comes to mind.
My experience leads me to advise other poor newbies to start in Scotty's Junction and head south, you'll be out of money before getting to Pahrump but you'll have had a lot of really good experiences with a lot of beautiful & kind lovers. Even though my Shady Lady times (two 2hr on 2 days) were great with Sadie (she's so sweet) and Miami at Bikini's was so warm and sexy and open and and and...I am now an Alien Cathouse Devotee (I've been abducted!!).
