On my last trip to Vegas during Christmas, one resturaunt that really impressed me for both price service, and quality of food was Fitzgerald's on fremont st. They had breakfast specials such as 3 large pancakes for $1.99 or 2 eggs, potatoes and toast for $1.99. If you want steak and eggs with all the trimmings, it was only $5.99.

For dinner, a small half chicken, a large scoop of smashed potatoes with chicken gravy, string beans, salad, roll and butter for $4.99 or the unlimited salad and pasta bar for $5.99.

What I felt was too expensive was the Paradise Cafe at the luxor. 3 pancakes for $8.99. They were alright but I think I hop or even Denny's has just as good pancakes. However, talking to Gimpy and Pat made the pancakes worth the price. Kinda nice to be able to sit back and bullshit with people you know while out of town.
