This is not a conventional review, but I feel need to express my feelings.
After a wonderful party with Lily on Saturday, I went back to Stockmen's hotel to recharge my batteries. Upon entering my hotel, I noticed that my wallet is gone, so I backtracked my steps all the way back to Inez's since this was the last known location of my wallet. Lo and behold, I couldn't find my wallet. I didn't know if I lost it or if it was stolen. I have talked to Peter and we checked Inez's for my wallet. We still couldn't find it. Peter offered me his flashlight so I can again retrace my steps to find my wallet. Still no luck. At this point, I was not a happy camper. I proceeded to go back to Inez's to strategize my next move. I realized I couldn't go home since my identification and my cash was in my wallet so taking the plane or renting a car was not an option. Peter offered to buy me a Amtrak train ticket for me to return to California. He purchased it on my behalf and we realized that identification was required to be presented with the train ticket. Upon that discovery, all of my hopes of getting home on Sunday were dashed. The Amtrak customer service told Peter that identification was not available, then a police report will be required to accompany the ticket. The police arrived to Inez's with my wallet with everything intact. I apparently I dropped it near my hotel and a Samaritan picked it up and gave it to the police. I am such a clutz. I couldn't have imagine that I lucked out. Where I come from, my wallet would not have been found or all of my money would have been gone. I was so relieved and elated that I partied with Tori again.
I just wanted to commend the Elko community for the integrity and especially, Peter, for having my back.
thanks
