Yeah, it must be cold in Nevada. So much for El Nino.

Sidey, wtf r u talkin about?  El Niño just may create a massive snowpack in the Sierra this year.  I was in reno for the Nino of 97/98 and the snowpack on mount rose was 20 fuckin feet high!!  The top of the snow bank carved out by highway crews towered over cars and trucks.

The NOAA now says that storms will start rocking the west beginning in January.....and again Reno Tahoe MAY get nailed. LA sd phx lv tuc WILL get drenched.

Don't get too worked up cosmo as sidey is confused by terms of science. Yea must agree though on how cold it is as forecast for today here is +/- a degree or so of freezing (0 C or 32 F), looking at Elko over the weekend notice listed night there around 6 for one.

Think my internal pilot light has frozen and gone out, would take a lot of effort by the lovely ladies to maybe get a flicker from it though their efforts might be interesting.

El Nino is usually warm rains. Not the kind that deliver snow. It's anything but warm in Ca. right now getting into the 20's where I live at night.

One person's rain is snow for another person sidey depends on location and elevation factors. The El Nino is a thing that affects weather patterns.

Sidey......there is a lot of snow in a good El Niño year.  Don't fool yourself.  Talk to me in April.  Ten footers can occur at donner summit and mt Shasta in Nino winters.  Google it!
