Rules Regulations and Mission Statement
« on: November 15, 2015, 12:33:38 PM »
These are the general rules.
These can never be all-encompassing and many situations will still need to be handled on a case-by-case basis using moderator discretion. These may be amended or appended as time goes on.

1.  No quoting of PMs, e-mails, tweets or any other electronic communication means in posts without the permission of the sender.  This is black and white, no exceptions.

2.  No posting links to pictures OR pictures of members or non-public pictures of working girls without their expressed permission.

3.  Do not post private personal information or identity of another member or working girl.

4.  Discussion of moderation is not a proper topic for the message board.   If you have a complaint about moderation or a question concerning a moderation action you should PM the Admin.

5.  Members must log into their account a minimum of once per year to maintain membership.   Members who do not stay current may have their account deleted.

6.  This message board is provided as a service to brothel owners, brothel managers, customers, potential customers, working girls, and potential working girls so that they may interact and exchange information and opinions.   Brothel owners, managers, and working girls under contract with a brothel are free to participate but they are to refrain from making negative statements, directly or indirectly, about other brothels, owners, managers or working girls.   Any such statements may be deleted or edited as the moderation staff sees fit.

7.  Direct personal attacks and threats will not be allowed. Differing opinions on various topics and lively discussion is permitted and encouraged.

8.  Discussion of illegal activities is not permitted.

9.  Attempts to publish the real identity of Administrators or Moderators is not permitted.

Members violating these rules or exhibiting bad behavior as judged by the moderation staff may be issued verbal and/or formal warnings.   Formal warnings result in raising of a user's warning level which is seen and tracked by the moderation staff.   Formal warnings may result in a users posts being fully moderated before appearing on the message board, having their account muted (read but cannot post), or in extreme cases having their account deleted and/or banned.

The owner and moderators of this board reserve the right to accept or reject any request for membership for any reason.  The owner and moderators reserve the right to limit or terminate the membership of any person for any reason.  The reason for rejection or termination of membership may or may not be provided at the owner or moderators discretion.

Reporting a post

When reporting a post to the moderators you have two options.

1.  Click on the icon to report the post and tell us why you feel it needs action.

2.  If you do decide to report a post and tell us why, then you quote the post and respond to it.  In this case the moderators will take no action as you have shown that you wish to handle it yourself.

Why do we exist?

There has been some speculation in a few threads as to why this website and this message board exist.   Everyone has their own idea as to the purpose of each and most are either incorrect or misguided.   My hope is that I can clarify the purpose and objective of the site and board with a couple of statements.

A little background first for those who are just joining us or have recently joined us.   This website first came online in 1998 and has been in continuous operation since that time.   We first put up a message board in February 2002 after the GPPAYS.com website went offline the previous year.   We switched to the current format by Simple Machines in August 2009.

SIN (Sex In Nevada) Website Mission

The goal of the Sex in Nevada website is to provide accurate information on all aspects of legal sexual and adult entertainment in the state of Nevada.  The information provided throughout the website is as accurate as we can make it from an outsider, hobbyist perspective.  Our goal is not to promote one venue over another but rather to provide information which allows a prospective user to make informed decisions.

SIN Forum

The SIN Forum is provided as a place for members of the Legal Prostitution in Nevada (LPIN) community, both customers and providers, to interact in an open dialog forum.   The forum is not designed as a platform for promotion nor denigration of any particular viewpoint, venue, or provider.   All opinions expressed on the Message Board or any of it's forums are strictly the opinion of the poster and is not necessarily the opinion of the owner or management of the website.  Any speculation by a poster or posters as to the "purpose" of this Message Board beyond that stated here is incorrect.
