Why Make Appointments?

I had an appointment for tonight for an outdate. Flew cross country for WF, booked a suite, made dinner reservations in a nice steakhouse, only to get an email 3 hours beforehand that she is not going to be able to make it and is sorry.

If this was the first time this has had happened to me, but it seems to happen EVERY time. Doesn't seem to matter who the lady is, or the ranch, or the occasion. And this includes a former COY winner, and a number of finalists.

All it does is reinforce my contention that appointments are a waste of time or something for the escort scene. Why anyone would bother with an appointment and make their plans around it are beyond me....

I just don't get it.

I've made two appointments with LPINs in my life, both in 2007 when I first visited northern Nevada.  I can't think of any lady that I need to have badly enough to make an appointment again.  If I go in and she's not available then there is always another one handy.  That's one of the draws of LPIN.

I know a guy who lives on a hill, is she won't do it then her sister will...

Geo,

So far (knock on wood) I have been lucky.  It's never happened to me and my husband.  We usually make appointments.  The reason that we do is because as a couple we are really interested in finding and clicking with ladies who like to party with couples.  Plus, I like to establish a rapport with a lady beforehand.  We don't want to take the chance to fly all of the way out there and find a lady who isn't interested in a couple party.  However, I can see your perspective.

The only appointment I'd recommend is a slot for Anna Suvari, because she was booked solid from 7p past midnite at the BR last nite (3 separate parties),
and I had the 5pm slot.  And that was made via PM direct with her - the BR office nearly cost me Nikki Leigh.

Otherwise, so frustrating.  If the office doesn't screw it up, half the time the LPIN will.

Though back in my bay area days, the (new, to me) indies would totally flake at least half the time, so it's not just an issues with LPINs.
One of the advantages of having a regular who's reliable...

'Course I guess it's not just the girls flaking, when I tried to make an appt. with Mandy Friday, the MR office wanted $500 deposit, and some of the BR girls ask for deposits too.

Any hints as to whom to not bother making an appointment with?

Good luck on alternatives.

I'm sure this is really frustrating, I'd be very unhappy if I traveled for someone, made reservations, and she wasn't available.
Just for the general info fund, I have made appts with Jenna who I know has turned down spur of the moment offers to be available for the appt she made, and Starr who came in on a day off just for me...both of the WH.

Other then to piss Fred off when he reaches the brothel and sees you walking away with the girl he wanted, I can't think of any reason to make an appointment.

I have made appointments on 7 occasions in the past and only 2 of them actually happened when they were supposed to.  Others either were not there at all or, in one case, was almost 2 hrs late.  The only appointment that I have made and actually have the person be ready and waiting for me was Carerra.  And a big feather in her cap for being dependable.

So anymore, I just call to see if the person is scheduled (not always reliable) or before I go out there, call to see if they are on the floor that night.  I see no reason to ever make an appt. again.

I have never had an appointment canceled. I also don't do them very often. I guess I have been lucky, at least I know I was lucky with those parties. All of them were some of the best parties.

I've never made an appointment before my trips, but I have setup appointments while visiting a brothel and talking directly with the lady or ladies for a party to happen later on that day or over the next few days.

Sexy Lexy, Chloe Daniels, Jordan Soprano and Kristen are some that I have scheduled in the past and they all were waiting for me when I arrived. I will say that Chloe went out of her way last summer for me, so that I could have another party with her during my time in Nevada during LPIN Gathering-13, as she was on a multi day outdate at the time.

I don't think I would make a far in advance appointment, or base a trip on one, based on the experience of Geo and others.

Perhaps the thing to do is to politely note online that a scheduled party did not take place, and give the ladies name and reason.  I know there are legitimate reasons for not being able to make a party happen as scheduled.  If a lady does cancel we need to hear about it and the reason for the cancellation. With more ladies attempting to work from advance appointments it may be time to include that info in reports and a client will need to decide whether to include listing the ladies name or info.

A lady that does cancel should offer to make it up to you somehow, such as offering more time or a discount when rescheduling, assuming that is something you would want to do.  If she becomes a repeat offender than we need to keep that in mind if we are scheduling a party in advance.  Adding that info online might help others decide if they want to schedule in advance with her.

Shit happens.... it just sucks when it does.  But if the same lady develops a reputation for doing this sort of thing over and over, guys need to know about the possibility of such.

Take care,

Of course the other side of this is that I have to wonder how many times a lady makes an appt, turns down another spontaneous opportunity, and then the appt doesn't show. How about if they took a credit card deposit when the appt was made, to be applied to the party when it happened, and forfeited if the appt doesn't show? If the ladies should compensate some how for a missed appt, shouldn't they be compensated for a no-show?

What you say is true, and some ladies are asking for a deposit.  It does work both ways.

My worse case scenario happened.  I had made an appt with someone new.  He confirmed numerous times so I felt confident I wouldn't be stood up.  Well, I'm waiting in the bar, skipping line-ups, not talking to customers, etc.  Turns out when he walked in, he saw someone who caught his eye and went with her, not telling her he had an appt with me!  I don't mind him seeing someone else, it is his choice, but at least let me know!   He told the lady he saw afterwards, she felt terrible and made him come out to tell me and apologize.

Good for her for making him talk to you.

I think there's three honorable things to do in a case like this:
1. go ahead and party with the appointee and do the someone else later,
2. make it a two girl party, or
3. up front say one has changed one's mind.

Maybe the ladies will also post "no show" reviews, a la afriend's suggestion.

So what should the customer get if he puts down a deposit and the lady does a no show?
