You guys need to try this restaurant.. I love their food I almost forgot my name after eating... lol sooo goooddd almost better than sex... lol

I've dined there on a few occasions and often spend time in their casino in-between partying. ;D Their prime rib special is also good and reasonably priced ...not to mention the free pie that Jmc1590 mentioned. 8)

Love that place at both locations! Free pie, Veterans Special, and that Prime Rib is terrific :) No Fee ATM in the Casinos too is nice ;)

They do have some good food . One of my normal stops when in Elko . Their New York Strip Steak are very good.

Now not to be a wet blanket to all the fine remarks about this place but my one visit was far different. A couple years back was thinking of giving it a try, with another went there but found the tobacco smoke nearly thick enough to cut and by the time got to the eating area wasn't able to stand it, thought the food would be tainted, also getting a parking spot a bit difficult, we left and went elsewhere to eat. They need to improve ventilation or move the dining area to a different location or have another entrance.
The price listed for special was why I thought of trying it but just couldn't hack the heavy smoke, it even left an after taste for time in my mouth so dinner that night as a bit delayed. Might again give them a chance.

I never smelt smoke in Gold Dust West Elko. They have electric air cleaners setting all around the place . Parking never had any problem they do now share the parking lot with the Hampton Inn . So I don't know who long ago it was when you are last there but over the last year I have been there multiple times no issues . Before that it was probably 7 year ago when I was there and honestly don't remember how it was.

Sounds like Sheri's! I've actually walked out before due to the heavy smoke. ::)
Both Gold Dust (Elko & Carson) have been fantastic!

The ventilation at Golddust west is pretty good now. Just about everyone there knows me due to my weekly donations. LOL
Of all the casinos in town, I find the staff to be the most friendliest.

Like I said before it was a back some time, and maybe things have changed or improved. Like the parking when there the was near the far end of the lot, so they could have added some since then. All I can go by is how it was when I tried it. As to the smoke on that visit was like a fog/haze hanging about the place. Given it being a Sunday probably more people there for an afternoon/evening out, time/day can make a difference on what/how a visit will be.
So might give it a chance but will depend upon my mood and time when the desire to eat arrives.
