One of my favorite places in Las Vegas, the Erotic Heritage Museum, provides "Art of Fallatio" workshops. The most recent one was Sept. 24 (
http://www.eroticheritagemuseumlasvegas.com/#!events ). As somebody who loves learning and is always interested in adding to my skills, I decided to attend a workshop back in April. I enjoyed it and even got to practice on a fruit I love: a banana. This was the first time I ever put a condom on a banana and I did it with my mouth. Considering that there was only one guy and about 8 women, it would have been hard to practice on the "real thing", so bananas were the next best option (lol).
A really cool sexologist named Amanda led the workshop. Though it was both educational and fun, some of the insight she provided was consistent with what I already thought. For example, she focused a lot on how giving excellent blow jobs involves using the tongue and lips in amazing ways, not only the throat. Amanda noted that despite what some porn may lead us to think, you can get great oral without deep-throating, gagging, etc. She mentioned that for many guys, much of the sensation is near the tip of the rod to paraphrase her (or whatever term you like) rather than deep down, which I figured. However, different people's bodies are different (which she also mentioned).
Oral is such a skill, talent, and as the title of the workshop implies, also an art. The workshop really focused on making oral both pleasureable and safe.
