In the 1970's , I was playing Hockey in Sault Ste Marie , Ontario,
Home town of Phil and Tony Espisito
So I skated with them a lot , and we were on the ice at least 6 hours a day
One day , I cramped up so bad I couldn't barely move
Tony helped me to the bench and made me drink pickle juice
90 seconds later I was back on the ice
I only tell you that so I can tell you this:
I'm in Elko and yesterday had the privilege of a party with Abby
As we're getting started , I start cramping up in my legs and back
I jokingly say I would kill for a glass of pickle juice
She asked why , told her the story
So Abby, being Abby got up , went to the kitchen and came back with a glass of pickle juice
90 seconds later I was back on the ice.........
Thank you Abby , has a great time , love your southern charm
And everything that comes with it

I forgot to mention, after a great time with Abby , I was feeling so lucky,
So I decided to stop at a casino on the way home, where I won $240
Life is good

Louis,
I hope so too unless my neck ends up putting me out of commission once and for all!
TN25,
I am glad that you had a good time as I did too! I look forward to next time and I will have the "right kind" of pickle juice on hand just in case. LOL, all I could find in the fridge were sweet baby gherkins not dills!

Hmm that's interesting. I wonder if that would help with my sciatica?
Who knows?! In researching the "pickle juice" theory (yes, TN25, I had to look it up) I found that most "experts" aren't really sure why pickle juice works in stopping muscle cramps and some think that it is the vinegar in the pickle juice that causes some kind of trigger to the brain to stop the muscles from contracting. Weird huh?!

Did it say anything about the affect it had on my toes , or was that all you? Lol

For those suffering muscle cramps, they could experiment with various kinds of juices, such as Apple Cider Vinegar. (I assume some juices, such as orange juice or pineapple juice would not be effective.) Let us know what you find out!

Guess I am going to have to start packing pickle juice with me... long time ago heard others talk about how it helps with muscle cramps but forgot about it. Have issues with my calfs and feet cramping sometimes during parties, so this is great information.
