I remember when rock was young
Me and Lola had so much fun
Holding hands and throwing dice
Never knew if they'd turn up naughty or nice
But the biggest kick we ever got
Was singing lyrics to the '70s rock
While the other mongers were rocking round the clock
We were hoppin' and boppin' to the Lola Rock
Well Lola Rocking is something shocking
When your hands just can't keep still
I never knew me a better time and I guess I never will
