Thanks for the report. Where have you been skiing? Been looking of heading to Tahoe in March..
I ski Northstar and Mount Rose mainly. The lift tickets are more reasonable there than Squaw or Heavenly and there is a pretty good variety of runs. Mount Rose is also the closest to Reno (about 30 minutes) and I usually find it more affordable to stay in Reno at the Casinos or at the Airport and drive to the slopes. I ski mostly diamonds but like some intermediates and beginner runs for rests. If money were no object though, I would ski Heavenly the whole time. Nice, expansive runs and a lot of variety. The snow has really been amazing this year though I skied during a warm spell after the big storm and it was icing up in spots. You always take your chances on the weather when skiing..kind of like the ladies at the brothels.  ;D But I usually have a good time.

JR

If you ski more than 3-4 days, definitely look into the Epic Local pass. I believe its $400 and gets you unlimited skiing at Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood along with days in Colorado, Utah and Whistler.
Hey, good to know. Thanks, GeoI I ski Colorado quite a bit too so that might make it worth it.

Jack,

Glad you had a good experience.
LPIN should be as advertised, but perception and reality do not always match. I know.  Obvious but true.

YMMV is a concept often used in the Cash For Sex biz, and my experience with her was as opposite on all levels of yours as could be.  Since this is an open forum to exchange info and experiences I hope readers find these comments as relevant and helpful as yours in the search for information and perspective to help make informed decisions of their own.

With LPIN as in gambling, you pays your money and you takes your chances.  It is what it is.
That IS really interesting, Tapper! But you're right. It really is about chemistry..sometimes you click, sometimes you don't. There was another thread about Cherry at the MR and some guys really just rave about her. For me, it was one of the worst parties I've ever had. Nice girl, but no sexual interest on her part which for me I can live with and not take it too personal. The ladies don't get a choice in who they choose and I wasn't her cup of tea. She may have also had a bad day. I think reading reviews are helpful but parlor time with a lady before the party is probably the best indicator for me on whether I should go ahead and party or not. With Ruby, I just lucked out and we had enough in common and were compatible in some areas despite our age differences. She's a good person in my book and pretty hot too. I hope to party with her again. But it is YMMV.

JR

True that.
So Cherry was a Bomb for you?  Cherry Bomb?  Pun intended.  Sorry.
Interesting.  I was thinking about talking to her next trip to MR.  Maybe it will be my day.  Maybe not.
Best to keep your options open regardless.  LPIN, as with the stock market, past performance is no guarantee of future performance.
Anything can happen good or bad. I always have a backup plan nowadays including walking away.   Hope for the best.  Good luck.
BTW, I saw your signature block re: Jay Lynn. I've partied with her at the MR and agree that she is a really good party.

JR,

You inspired me to book at the Peppermill spa. One of my good friend's birthdays just passed and I'm treating her to a massage there soon. She's never had a massage (!!!) so I'm very excited to see how she likes it.

Thanks again for being so nice and awesome.

xoxo

What a great place for a first massage! It's a little more expensive there, but they definitely pamper you with a warming massage table, face/feet wraps, and all day pass to the spa where you can just hang out and relax. She is really lucky to have you as her friend! My pleasure.

Is the peppermill spa expensive? I've only gambled and partied there. (Like drinking party, not LPIN party.)

Great report again dude

I do a 50 minute massage and they automatically throw in a 20% tip (I think the tip is mandatory) and it was around $145. That's about double what I pay for a standard massage back home. But like I said, it also gives you a free pass to the spa itself where there are whirlpools, small pool, lounging areas, small snack items and non-alcohol drinks (healthy stuff). The massage rooms are also more upscale. I just think it is a perfect way to relax after skiing or LPIN.

Well, I have to admit that I got a massage with her :D She loved it! Her exact words after the massage were "I feel like a wet noodle" LOL. The warming tables and everything were so nice. Definitely going back after my semester is over to treat myself.

You don't have the passport rewards thing? Maybe it's only for locals, I'm not sure. But I used it on my bill and each massage came out to $100, with tip included! Definitely check it out :) The fact that you can stay all day and enjoy all the amenities is what really seals the deal. I would rather pay $100 for a massage and be able to enjoy all the other stuff for a few hours, instead of paying like $60 something at Massage Envy and only get the massage. Check it out, high drive!

JH I hope you don't mind, but I heard great things about you... Someone was happy to meet you :)

PS. The players rewards is for everyone, but the 20% discount is for locals, now I am not sure Nevada locals or Reno/Tahoe/Carson locals. Also check out because they give military discounts in the rooms stay as well.

Hmn. Somehow I had a feeling that I would find a comment like this from you before I even read the thread. Good to see you here buddy, hopefully it wasn't purely for passive agressive motives. Probably not that, huh? 8)
