Thanks for your feedback Jakesterjjj,
There are more changes to come including moving older provider reviews from this board to the new Provider reviews board.
On February 27th, 8 days ago, I posted this announcement at the top of this forum and stickied it.
http://sex-in-nevada.net/smforum/index.php?topic=29762.0I simply asked for no more reviews to be placed in this section and gave a warning if they continued to be.
If/When negative reviews are posted in the new providers review board, are we all ready for a shit storm when comments are allowed? I hope so. I has happened in the past- a lot. Borg... be prepared.
I'm sorry you find the new form to be robotic. As stated before, you do not have to answer all of the questions only the name of the provider, date time and your handle and email verification are required fields. AND if you wish to write a book, you can STILL do so in the LAST field in the form under "Additional Party Details. So really the content of the fields before that being left blank is not an issue for anyone who wants to submit a review!
Maybe I should move the last field to the beginning of the form so people will understand and use this concept. Short of the discussion we have had on it so far, I truly don't understand what the issue is. You can STILL write a full report without having to fill out MOST of the other fields!
As far as post-provider report discussion goes, we can try opening up the discussion, but it will also make your specific searches less accurate and ultimately less useful when searching for relevant keywords in the provider forum.
If I open up the provider review forum to discussion I guess instead of people just discussing a particular report in the general board, it could remain in the provider review board. Again, It's not like myself, the Borg, and Data have not all discussed allowing discussion in the new provider review forum. The feedback I got prior to enabling provider reviews is that they did not want have to deal with the shit storm of a bad review there.
So now you hopefully know the background of the "Why" better. And hopefully you understand why I said DD's post would be deleted since I posted a request 8 days ago at the top of this forum stating that provider reviews posted here would be deleted and their valuable work would be lost. I think that was ample warning and have no idea why people would ignore it and choose to do so otherwise. Sure the review form was not functioning correctly. I get that. But rather than circumvent and ignore my requests,
why not just reach out for help with a quick note in the feedback forum instead? I think the resolution came quickly as info was shared and people helped out to test.
So I'm on the fence still as to whether to allow discussion in the same thread of a posted provider review. I'll let the Borg and Data Chime in as they are really the ones that have to deal with it if a negative review comes in a shit starts to fly!
Thanks again for your feedback,
Q
