How would you feel about indoor skydiving?  If Nye county allowed outdates, I would have definitely taken a lady from a ranch by now.

Got Holly's autograph the first time I was in Vegas - her show is amazing... seen it twice.

Personally, I liked the production shows the most - e.g. the Lion King, the Phantom of the Opera - not sure if they are still showing still.

Each casino has it's own unqiue attraction - personally I found the indoor canals in Venetian the most interesting.

Hope you have fun!

1. Don't go alone.Vegas is more fun when you have someone to share the adventure with...
One other tip...explore the city; google las vegas on your computer and make a plan to do
something different each day...

The Beatles show at the mirage....Zumanity at new York new York....penn and teller at the rio.......
Depending on what you're into......

As for hotels, there's so many good ones.  Hooters is NOT one of 'em.  What a dump.  To get a nice room under 100 bux, try the Tropicana or Tuscany.

Unfortunately, the Lion King is gone.  I believe it closed last year.  Phantom of the Opera is scheduled to close in Sept.  I've seen both and they were great shows.

Le Reve @the Wynn is another good show.  It's not a Cirque production, but it's similar.

If you're an Elvis fan, "Viva Elvis" @the Aria is going to close in August, so this may be your last chance to see it ...another Cirque show is scheduled to take it's place ..."Zarkana".

Terry Fator @the Mirage - I haven't seen his Vegas show, but it's at the top of my "to do" list.

If you never been downtown to see the Fremont St. Experience, it's worth seeing at least once.

Too bad about Lion King - was hoping to see it again.

I second the Le Reve - saw that and liked it.

I should go downtown on one of these trips...

My vote is for Le Reve, Zunanity, and Love.

My favorite show was cheap trick, but that was only a one time show. They do not perform there on a regular basis.

Fremont St. Free Stage shows. Did I say Free. ::)
The Mob Museum at the old post office a block over from Fremont St.
Jersey boys, the play based on the life of Franki Valli & The Four seasons.
Austraila's Human Nature at The Imperial Palace. A white goup who does all the Motown hits and does them so well, Smokey Robinson sponsors them.
Can't go wrong with any Circus Soleil show.
Slot's O Fun next to Circus Circus. The biggest hotdog and beer for around $2.50. It's a meal.
The Flamingo on Las Vegas Blvd. Yes, they really have Live FlaMINGOS, Not the plastic or aluminum ones old people put in their yards. Also, a real nice back area with water ways, coy fish, turtles and nice walkways.
Eythel M Chocolate factory. Not very large but interesting and they have a huge Cactus Garden out back.. It must be about an acre in size. Oh and the chocolate. The best I've ever had.
The bar at the top of the rio. A fantastic view of Vegas at night.
Oh, The free Carnival Shows at the Rio a stage show with large neon lit floats hanging from the ceiling, traveling all the way around the casino and also a bartender's show with them doing all the fancy tricks.
