Here are several more pics of Lamoille Canyon.  Theses pics were taken a few days ago by  Lomez and I just want to share them with everyone here.

Great work guys!  While the sights, sounds, and experiences that can be had on 3rd street will always be the main attraction for me, it is nice to know that are lots of OTHER things to do in and around Elko.

Great idea ;)
I keep wanting to see Angel Lake. I saw on the map when I drove thru Elko once.
I have friends that will be hunting in Elko area.

We have several museums here:
1) Northern Nevada History Museum (On Idaho next to Main City Park)
2) Western Folklore Center (corner of 5th and Railroad)
3) California Trail Interpretive Center (On I-80, halfway between Carlin and Elko)

I've been checking the temperatures in Elko & it looks like I'll actually have to pack my long pants & a long-sleeved sweater to wear this January!  That will feel strange as I rarely wear more than shorts, T-shirt & vest.  I think it's been a few years since I've had to wear long pants & a long-sleeved sweater in Elko but I haven't been there in January in quite some time.

I visited Elko last summer for the first time, great basque restaurant close to Inez.  Really good food for the price, and met some nice residents.  Highly recommend.
