Road Trip #34 (updated final)

11/13/2010:
    Nothing to do around here, will drive to Tonopah this afternoon, about 1/2 way to Reno.

11/14/2010:
    Arrived at the Peppermill and now in my room. Room? I mean Suite. Met up with Cookie Monster at the bar where we both made a couple of hunderd dollars. resting a little and then on to who knows what.

11/15/2010:
     Spent most of the day gambling at the Peckermill. About 7:00pm CM and I met up with Fairoakean and Fly at the Mustang. We had a lot of fun swapping stories of brothels and the ladies we have known. We were joind by a couple of the 'stang ladies. I finally decieded to take the new girl Crystal for a test spin so to speak. She had only started working there on Friday. Field report sent in. (HG)

11/16/2010:

   Been gambling all day , ate breakfast with CM, both had French Toast , neither of us could finish it way too much food!  Going to dinner at 6:00 tonight and will discuss further activities then.  Still having pleasant thoughts about last night party with Crystal.  Went out to dinner with Fairoakean, IB and Sherry , it was  Sherrys birthday. Or it will be Sherrys birthday. Talked about stuff and in general had a good time. Came back and gambeled some more. Ran into CM at the casino and found he had fallen asleep and missed the dinner! Too bad Fairaokean picked up the check!! Thanks for that big guy!

11/17/2010:

    CHLOE DANIELS.  Thought about her all morning, partied with her in the afternoon and thought about her all evening.  Also had a good time talking and smoozing with the other ladies at the Love Ranch, Josie, Gillian, and  Scarlet.

    Well CM is on his plane home and I just recieved my Platinum card from the Peckermill.  May need to go out and celebrate tonight.  Decieded to stay in tonight and head home tomorrow, maybe I can get an early start.  It has been a really good trip, spent some good time with friends, gambled and partied twice with two great women. What else can a guy ask for on a vacation?

If you drive through Beatty be sure to look for signs of the new brothel that is supposed to be on Airport Road just south of town.

Was this a planned trip by Shooter or as it sounds, like a spur of the moment decision to head NorthWest?

Something inside me tells me that we might be reading about a party soon with a lady whose birthday happens to be today.

Coincidental?  I doubt it... But time will tell.  ;)

Tonopah? ahh, a non brothel trip. The largest dumpy town between Reno and Vegas. Too bad, Tonopah wasn't always that way.

OK, did your laptop break?  I figured after Chloe let you out of her room you would post an update...oops, maybe he's still there.

:D  The way I read his post was that he was only driving to Tonopah yesterday (Saturday).  Then I expected him to drive the rest of the way to Mound House and party with her today, it being her day off.  I'm fairly confident she would come in on her day off for him too.

I guess we will have to wait some more it seems.  I hope he did tell someone of his plans.  I learned the hard way that is not something to take for granted after being stuck for a few days in the high country of Utah.  Only by luck did I manage to make it out alive.  No more trips without someone knowing my whereabouts and when to expect me anymore.

What part of UT high country did you get stuck in? Some places even cell service hasn't reached yet. I've found 2-way radio works fairly well, be it CB/FS/ham.

This was about 18 to 20 years ago doing a little sightseeing as my wife attended a conference in Denver.  Not many cell phones then and I did not have any other communication devices.

My former brother-n-law and I were trying to get down to the Arches from Vernal, when he showed me a map we had just gotten at one of the dam sites while traveling down through the Flaming Gorge area.  It showed what I thought was a state route (88?) going through Ouray.  Well the road was great for a number of miles, then it turned into a nice gravel road.  It kept climbing up until we were in the mountains.  This was in the springtime and then we went around some curves that were protected from getting sunlight on them.  There was a little snow, and we decided we could get across it without a problem.  Traveled on down the road some more and the same thing occurred.  This time we could not get over or around the snow, so we headed back and then realized we were trapped between the two snow covered places.  We decided to go ahead and attempt to get around the snow as it was the only way out.  It was basically a road cut out of the side of the mountain.  We ended up stuck up to our 4 wheel SUV's axles in the snow.  

I found a sign the next day saying it was "Seep Ridge Road", we were in what I believe is called the Book Cliffs area.  I know I've posted about it before, but I can not find my post. It might have been on the old site.  If I do run across it, I'll post a link as getting out of there was probably the scariest moments of my life.  I was very lucky... to say the least.

I guess Shooter is lost or stuck somewhere too it appears!

Well, I'll be here till Thursday.  It was a last-minute thingy for me. 
Shooter and I met up at the coffee house in the peckermill this morn for breakfast and bs.

It sure was nice to sleep in this morn till about 8:00am (11:00 EST for me!)  Last night we BS'd with the cabaret singer gal while she was on her break in the high-limit area.  She's a hottie from So-Cal.  We drank some beers and talked about cars, women, me incorporating my business in Nevada for the tax bene's.

Gambled ALOT at the peckermill today... did ok.  Morning machines were brutal, but caught back up in the afternoon.  Shooter did pretty good on video poker.  I'll let him share.

Heading to exit 28 around 7pm to meet up with Fly and Fairokian tonight... and, of course to scope out the wimmins and hopefully party if one tickles my fancy.

Shooter didn't party yet with Chloelicious. 

I'm gonna check the lineups online now and see who's working tonight.
