Well Bob, as flattering as that sounds, no. First of all, I'm not a fan of that genre of literature (if you could call it that, no disrespect to ladies or guys who like it). Secondly, outside of my occasional time with Rose, my real civilian life has been rather sedate and tame. You may have forgotten I was with the same woman faithfully for almost 42 years, so I wasn't experiencing any adventures with women until about 6 1/2 months after she passed.

You may have seen me say that Mr. Jewels told me right before he passed that I should write porn. I don't know. Not really my thing.

One of my favorite authors though, was George MacDonald Fraser who wrote the infamous, scandalous "Flashman" books (look them up if you haven't), an adventure series of a British military scoundrel who drank, womanized and fought his way into becoming an unintentional national hero. Good stuff. Although fictional, it was based on real military events and political intrigues. Perhaps I am subconsciously channeling him, along with Hunter Thompson's gonzo journalism and a smidgeon of Chuck Bukowski's low life, loser escapades, lol.

Mostly, my muse is just a sweet, lovely, inspiring human being. You know.
