As I had done for the last several years I have taken a trip to Las Vegas.  This year I stayed at the Stratosphere Hotel.  Hotel was very easy to navigate and did not need a map after finding where my room was located.  The view of the area from the interior and exterior observation decks was more than expected.  The only exception was seeing the now closed Sahara and the abandoned-in-place Fountainbleu.  Enough about Vegas itself.

Monday 3 Oct - After picking up my rental at the airport, drove through Pahrump to the Crystal Love Ranch.  The continued updates are fantastic.  More renovations still occurring.  Was presented with a line-up of 4 (Stacey Stunnings, Kimber Banks, Dasiy Mae, and one other who held up the proceedings fgor a few minutes).  Based upon an incident after my party last year with Sweet Ajay (not involving Ajay), I wanted to party to Daisy Mae.  Field Report will be submitted later today.

Tuesday 4 Oct - Went to the Chicken Ranch.  I was unaware that it was DOctor Day for the ladies at the CR.  But was presented a two girl line-up, Sexy Lexy and Dahlia.  Definitely not a bad choice to be had.  Since I had partied with Lexy last year, and had not been with Dahlia in several years. I chose Dahlia.  Field report will be submitted later today.

When I got back to my hotel, I called the Shady Lady to see who was available for the following day.  Was informed that Veronica, Sadie, and Angel was available.  I made an appointment with Angel for the next day.  A somewhat negative report will be submitted.  In the past two years I had partied with Miss V. and with Sadie.  Sadie had previously indicated, through this forum, that she would not be available this week.

Overall two good parties were had.  Shady Lady needs to improve its parking lot and access road.  I do not recall it being that rough and with as many bumps before.  While on 95, I went past Bikini's.  I was surprised how easily seen from the road it was.  I was expecting it to be further away.  Like Sady Lady, Bikini's needs to improve their entrance (finding the entrance and turning onto its access road).   Angel has a sign at its entrance and of course the downed aircraft.

P.S. What was up with the weather?  Should have brought a jacket with me and needed the wipers everyday.  The high temperature was in the 70s with two days only in the 60s.

Forgot to mention that it appears that there is some activity at Nevada Joes.

The Stratosphere Hotel/Casino is very nice. Just too bad, it's in one of the worst spots on the strip. With The Sahara being closed, I wonder if the monorail still goes that far? As far as Bobbi's Rd to the ShadyLady, I thought the same thing about it being bad but then I remember that's the way it use to be all the way back to the Chicken Ranch and that was for miles, not just a few hundred feet. Perhaps Bobbi leaves it that way so people will slow down and not hit the wild critters. No big deal.
Weather? After Sept, anything is possible. I was there two years ago and it was in the low 100's. Two days into Oct, the wind came up and created a big sand storm and after that, it was in the high sixties the next 4 days.

BTW: I've heard good things about both veronica and Sadie and it didn't come from this board. I trust it completely!

BTW: Something I never knew. In Vegas when the wind starts to blow, some of the Hotel/Casinos shut down their pools. It happened to me both at The Rio and The Union Plaza. I guess they're afraid of liability from pool furniture blowing around.

Could also be that they want to cover the pools so excess sand & dust doesn't get in and clog their filtration systems.

Well, that's what I would have thought too but in both cases the pools were not covered, just closed because of the wind.

Must be the potential liability issue (w/blowing pool furniture) then.
